Very chill place w great owners and great food !! They have vegetarian items and it was very clean oils . I didn't have any issues w it all . We love the Pina colada too it's amazing. They have a great special for around 10 so 2 people were only 21 w tax. Its kinda a ways out n BA but it's worth the drive !! I'd like it if they had some umbrellas on the eating tables for extra shade but still great . Ive to PR a couple of times and had a good friend from there cook for me and this food is the real deal .
WOW!!! First time at Sorta Rican food truck. The food was so fresh and homemade, and generous in their portions. The owner was the nicest friendiest man ever. So impressed and glad we stopped. Will become regulars!! Also, area has lovely shaded tree areas with picnic tables to enjoy this fabuous food.
We tried pretty much everything! The Pina Colada is made with real pineapple juice and coconut. It isn't very sweet, but is delicious and healthy! Personal and family opinion on foods - skip the mofongo (it's probably an acquired or inherited taste). Definitely try- Sweetened plantains (Amarillos) Any and all Pastelillos (favorite) Papa Rellena (mashed potatoes filled with beef) is pretty good. Tostones are good. Street Tacos (recently added to the menu) are yummy, especially with their mango salsa. We weren't big fans of the rice (Arroz Con Gandules), but I'd get it again for protein factor under some chicken. The quanity for the cost is pretty spot on. The service is great. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
This was my first visit, but it won't be the last. We were greeted with a friend smile, shown the menu, and even given samples to try. After ordering we sat in the cool shade of the near by tree, at one of many nice picnic tables. Our food was brought out quickly, and it was definitely hot and fresh. The serving size is big, the price is right for the meal, and the flavors were great!
This is a Puerto Rican food truck, with outdoor seating if you want it. I've been to Puerto Rico... and it's impossible to find bad food let me tell you, and most of it is in food trucks. This lives up to the name. There was a sampler tray and menus presented as we approached the window... and boy was the food good. The food was prepared quickly and was absolutely delicious!! We brought some home to my wife's parents (fresh from PR) AND THEY LOVED IT!! I Highly recommend if you miss the flavor of the island... or just wanna try something new... this was delicious!!!
The owner is extremely welcoming and over the top nice. Food was great and service was quick. Pina Colada was fun and little additions like an umbrella and coloring on the box make it feel like the customer is appreciated.
Great food and the nicest people! A definite top 10 food truck for the Tulsa area. Try the mofongo and tostones, you won't be disappointed. And that mango habanero salsa? To die for. ... There are picnic tables and shade trees if you want to eat there.
The food is amazing! Comes hot & fresh, local owner, and the small personal touches make it worth coming back!
